Who are y'all going for in the super bowl?
I will be going for philli, o'corse! Owens is my favorite recever of all time. I've watched his career since SanFrancisco. Plus theres always a little Q.B. named Donovan McNab... And Westbrook, possibly the greatest running back in the NFL today. Then the defence! Holding Atlanta to 10! Brady has no chance against Kerse![sly]

I am pulling for the eagles but i dont think they can stop the pats.Eagles have had a very easy playoff schedule.Atlanta was weak stop vick and make him throw and its over and they did that.Minnesota no defense there and with randys distractions who knows if the offense would show up and they didint.Eagle do have a good defense but i dont think thats enough .Go eagles![sly]

I just hope its a good game. I hate when its over by halftime. I agree with most of what you say, all but the wesbrook comment. He's definately an explosive player that can have a breakout game at anytime, but his 2004 numbers are low. He ranked 29th in the league in rushing this year (812yards) and only 3 TD's. Curtis Martin, Sean Alexander and Corey Dillon each rushed for more than 1600 yards this year. I'm not saying the Eagles don't have a good chance of winning, I simply think they have their work cut-out for themselves.

[cool]Who am I rooting for, or who do I think is going to win? Those are two different answers. I am a BYU Cougar Football season ticket holder(I know, I know-they've sucked the past 3 years, and the Utes have beeten them all 3 of those years[mad], but Cougar Football will return to it's winning ways in '05), so obviously with Chad Lewis, Reno Mahe, Justin Ena, and Ifo Pili on the Eagles, that's who I'm rooting for, but the Patriots are so poised under pressure of big games etc., that unfortunately I think they will win, but hope they don't!![pirate] They've also got a mean defense that concerns me for the Eagles. Hope I'm wrong and they Eagles kick butt and take names!

I agree about Westbrook. He's just a great back out of the back field. He may not keep up with Dillan, Alexander or Martin with rushing, but get him catching the ball and hold on! I've been watching football for quite a while. I don't exactly keep up on the stats, but I do know what I've seen him do. And I know with him and Owens teaming up down field the pats have got no chance at stoping them.

I'm actually hoping for a close game, also. But I'm more looking foreward to Paul McCartney performing at half time, then the Eagles blowin the pats away(hopefully)

I had such a hard time making a decision on 2 team that I have no likings of. So now that poses another set of choices for me.

Freshwater or Saltwater. I decided to go fishing for this Superbowl Sunday. (I am recording the best part of it though. The commercials) I can always watch the good part of it later.[cool]

I think Westbrook is a bigger threat when they dump him the ball on a short screen or a flat pattern. He really does well with RAC (run after catch). I hope to see the game decided in the last two minutes of regulation. Or even better, the last two minutes of overtime. Looks like T.O. practiced yesterday too.

I like Andy Reid, and McNabb, and the Eagles always get so close I'm rooting for them for sentimental reasons. However, after seeing the Pats blow out Indy and the Steelers, I don't think Philly is going to make it. I think it will be a closer game than what we've seen lately, but I think that Pats defense is just way too good for anyone to get past this year. Not to mention that Brady and Viniteiri just seem to get better when the heat is on.
