Was a fun day on the ice we all caught plenty of fish and at a good pace. Most of the strikes were on the bottom in 30' of water. Chartreuse Boogers worked the best for us,tipped with wax worms.
middle still is open and about 18" space between the ice and shore. We fished the south arm. All the fish were 14" to 18".

James where did you guys fish? I was up there with my son and we had a very hard time getting bites. I didn't see too many people getting fish at all. We started just south of the Taylor Hollow pull off.
When we left I saw 2 crazy SOB's out in float tubes.

We was the group of three with the yellow lab farther south and across the other side. We got there at 12:00 and left at 2:00 so we were not there long. That side of the lake always seems to fish alot better as oppossed to the side closest to the parking lot.

Thats the area we fished last year and did good but we usually do good right below the parking lot where it is very steep. Sounds like you guys had a good day, did you see any eagles or turkeys on the drive up? WH2

We watched for turkey but did not see any. One bald Eagle perched in a tree. I like to pass the main lot so I don't have to climb down the steep hill.
