I am taking my seven-year-old grandson ice fishing this Saturday the 5th. I am toying with the idea of trying Fish Lake. If I go, I would like to drive down Friday afternoon/evening, stay overnight in a motel (total cost, before taxes, would be $38 at one I contacted) near there, fish Saturday and return Saturday evening. I plan on meeting up with another BFT member down there, and it sounds like he will have his 4 wheeler, so hopefully we will have help getting our gear out on the ice. Anyone interested in joining me and my grandson on this great adventure? If interested or if you need additional information send me a PM. BTW -- I live in the Bountiful area.

Yeah saturday is the 5th, But ocean and i plan to be there, i live down here in richfield so i am just driving up in the morning. Let us know if you make it down saturday.

Hey Kent we are headed out there sat also.Probably be there at 7 am and we will probably stay all day too.I have one of those hand held cb radios i dont know if they work the same as the regular ones people in the BFT have.

You probably have a radio similar to the ones we also have. If you can tune to 12-0 you are good to go.

Sorry guys, I had a couple fishing buddies who wanted to go to Fish Lake, but couldn't make it this Saturday. I was concerned about driving that far (and so early and so late) as the only adult, so instead of heading to Fish Lake Saturday I will be fishing Strawberry with my grandson and Tincanfsh.

Well kent i dont blame you that would be a hell of a long drive for you as the only adult, you have to be alert for animals the whole way, Good luck at strawberry and i'll have to meet you another time.

] Richfield and Salina both have motels and you are only about 30-45 mins from the lake from there. They are near I-70 so the rates are higher.
