Cobia jump on Merkin Crab fly's when following Sting Rays across the flat, just drop a Merkin on the rays back and hold on to your ^$@#.
We hooked 3 Cobia on thursday, the biggest about 30 lbs which
is a handful on the little 8wt Sage. We should have Cobia on the Keys flats for another month although Permit will start to get more attention as the water temps come up.
Pompano and Bluefish are still fun in the basins and channels that run between the flats and on a fly rod or light spinning rods are a good time more reports at....http://chaserkeywestfishing.blogspot.com
