Stream Fishin SLC 2/27

Went to one of my favorite stretches of stream today. The water was low and clear. I started chucking a fly at fish I could see. They just wouldn't bite it. So I threw a blue fox. Again nothing. These fish were just way too spooky! I went up higher and had some fun snagging carpies. I got 3 of them, and left a lure in another. Oh well. It was getting rusty anyway.
Went to another long run. At the final big hole and caught 2 little browns, each about 10" off of a #2 blue fox brown trout pattern. It was fun to get out and fish in this lovely weather!

Thanks for the report. Too bad the fish weren't a little more willing to take some lures. At least you cleaned out some trash.

Theres always next time. At least them browns are still in there! I've been a little woried about it. I wish I could have gotten a few more of them trashes outta there. Theres atleast 15 in one hole! Atleast I've got easy catfish bait for a while.
