Brownlee in late May
#1
Hey guys, I'm going to be hitting Brownlee in late May (and possibly even late April too).

I'll be fly fishing from a pontoon (w/ fish finder), but my son will probably be fishing with spinning tackle from his float tube.

I grew up around the Treasure Valley and fished Brownlee as a kid. Now my memory isn't sharp enough to remember where we went and what we fished with. So I was wondering if someone could let me know what to expect with the Crappie and Smallies.

I'll probably fish it from the Oregon side up somewhere between Huntington and the Powder. Any places you might suggest?

What flies and/or jigs etc would be good to have? Are the Crappie still schooled up in late May?

Anyway, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. In return I'll give you a pass for some free donuts from the best bakery in the world there in Nyssa.
