Lousey Day on the water

I went out to Willard today and spent a few hours on the water and I must say that it was the worst. I really think that the fishing has started to go dorment. I didn't hear of anyone that did anygood. I started out on the South side out to the SW Corner. Then over towards the light pole and back across the middle, and headed over to the East side no matter where I went nothing was biting.I tried everything I could think of in the Tackle box but I couldn't buy a fish. Guess it just wasn't my day. AFDan

Yes I agree, wiper season is about over but walleye fishing might be getting better. I think I might try for the walleye the next time I go out. Slow with deep diving crankbaits, maybe
a worm harness or jig. When the water temp gets down to 50 or
less the walleye put on the feed bag. WH2
