I'm guessing that you're talking about Milner Reservoir by Burley, ID. The weather has been cool with some rain in Pocatello (hour east of Milner) the last few weeks. The water in the snake that is feeding into Lake Walcott (just upstream of Milner) has been about 44 degrees in the afternoon. The water in Milner is probably slightly warmer. Milner’s water level hasn't fluctuated much the last couple of years. Here's a link that will give you up to date water levels for the Snake and major reservoir upstream of Burley.

I've found bass fishing in eastern Idaho to be a hit or miss in April. As long as the weather cooperates the bass fishing becomes much more consistent in May. Until conditions improve I won't make much of an effort to catch bass. So far this year I've only caught one largemouth out of the Snake and a smallmouth out of a private pond. Hopefully after we get some good warming trends my arm will be sore and a bunch of bass have sore lips.[Wink]

The forecast calls for light rain and highs in the 50's most days over the next week and the cfs coming out of Walcott is about to increase so I wouldn't expect the catching at Milner to improve in the near future.
Good luck if you get out.

I've been using that website mentioned above for about 2 years to keep an eye on Milner.
