#1
Doing some surfin' and found this possibility for those of you who have Fishin' Buddy Sonar and don't want to buy the commercial strap on mount.

Hey now! You're meddling in my neck of the wood![Smile]

The TFF is a Texas board where I frequent the tube and fly fishing sections. I saw that mount but decided it wouldn't work particularly well with my Pirahna Max! At least he didn't use chewing gum and baling wire![Wink]

Yeah WoolyB, I figured you'd know about that place, you being a Texan Tuber and all. Actually, there are some pretty good posts over there. I'm more of a cold water fisherman than warm, due to my "northern" location, but a lot of the tubing stuff transfers very well. I thought the cup idea was kinda neat. I have an older Fishin' Buddy II that I don't use very much anymore (Actually, it will be going to my grandson for his tube very soon.) I bought the commercial strap-on sleeve some years ago and used it for many trips. I used the FBII on my boat, tube, and one of the early Fish Cat pontoons. Can't beat it for portability, though it falls short of some of the modern units in what it can display.

I don't know about gum but bailing wire? Now that might have some possibilities![Wink]
