Hehe, I will try this, but if for some reason you are trying to be comical and they really attract the bugs you will hear from me. Wink

yon can also rub the dryer sheet on exposed skin to keep the bugs off as well.. alot better then that nasty bug spray and works just as good.. give it a try.. it dont work as good for deer flys and horse flys tho.. but nats and skiters dont want anythng to do with it..

Avon sells a product called Skin so soft. It makes you smell real pretty. But it does keep the gnats from biting. When I lived in the Uintah basin we used it by the bucket full.

SKin so Soft.........Yeeeeeeeck!!!!!! That stuff smells worse than Mosquito Repellant. I'd rather roll in road kill first.

Smear some good ol' 30 weight on your person. If you grease up real good, the gnats can't get a foothold for a good bite and just slide around.[cool]

I fish Willard religiosly all summer long and if you don't want to mess with covering your body (especially your face) every hour with bug spray or what ever. Stop at Smith & Edwards on your way and go to the army surplus section, they have bins of Mosquito nets that are very lightweight and inexpensive ( about a buck or two). They cover your entire face and neck and you will never have to deal with those nasty nats or any other bugs in your eyes or mouth again. Good Fishing!!!

Smith and Edwards is just north of Ogden, and right by the turnoff that goes to the south marina at Willard Bay as well as the the road that goes around the dike. I think they open at 9AM.

Hey lots of good suggestions here. I myself use garlic. No I don't rub it on or eat the cloves. I have it in my meal the night before. Garlic bread, lasana, scampi, you get the idea. It works great, but not for deer hunters.
