Willard Bay

Fished Willard Saturday morning. Started about 8:00 a.m. We tried over on the south dike fishing from shore. Nothing. Then drove on that bone jarring road to the light pole. Got one hit. We were using a Rapala Shad Rap silver/black. And a Rat-L-Trap chrome/blue. Also tried tube jigs. But no fish. Total time fishing was about 3 hours. Skies were alittle cloudy but no rain. Alitte wind but not bad. Lots of mosquitoes by the road. Once you get over the dike to the water you are okay. Any advise to catch Wipers would be helpful.

Hey at least you did get abite!We fished willard from 830 -430.And nothing!I also fishe dhte south side.Had better luck on the north side last year but the walk sucks! Guess it wont get better till the water warms up a bit.
