Jimmy and his son James Dean came down for their usual fall fishing expedition and left with all
s and bags full of fillets. They caught 57 trout,8 black drum, and one two pound black bass. All the fish were caught with ultra light tackle using live shrimp under a float.
The trout were real nice size again today as they put many well over 16 inches in the box. This father and son duo fish with me a couple of times a year and we really have a good time together.
Today was James's turn to really put the burners on the fish but Mr. Jimmy hung in there and held up his own end of the trip. They are fishing again with me Monday and I think we will be in search of Mr. Redfish as they are bringing another friend that goes by the name of Bo and as you well know Bo knows redfish.
Today was another great trip as we stayed in the dead end canals out of the wind and enjoyed fishing in the shade all day. Today was the most comfortable day of the year to fish as far as the weather goes.
