As some of you know recently my 4 year old grandson and lil fishin' buddy was extremely injured when a large TV fell upon him.. Well I'm tickled to report he's been moved out of ICU and is kickin' and grinnin' once again! He has a bit of an up hill battle yet of course but according to the Doc's he should be just dandy!
Now I can breathe easy and life is sweet!!
Please let this serve as a warning to all parents, grandparents, everyone.. Protect your youngsters by stapping your tall furniture or heavy items to the wall!

[black]They always say too much TV is bad for kids and this proves it! Hoping the best for the young'un, Don. Being a grandfather myself, I know it can really tear you apart when those youngsters are ailing. Sounds like you'll be fishing with him in no time. Good on you and the grandkid![/black]

Hey Don, I saw that on TV the other night, but until your post I had no idea that the youngster was related to anyone on BFT. Glad to hear he is doing well and it looks promising for a full recovery.

I'm glad he is doing better. I can honestly say I know how you feel because just over a month ago my son climbed up on a dresser and brought the whole thing as well as a TV down on top of him. After all the x-rays and cat scans we started counting our blessings. He was totally out of it for two days and slowly started coming back to normal which was a big relief. We were initially told he had fractured his neck but it ended up being just a major concussion. We were lucky.
Our prayers are with your grandson and hope all turns out well.

[cool]Glad to hear the little guy is improving and will recover. My little ankle biter is just about walking now so I need to strap some things like that down! I'll keep your grandson in my prayers.
