I am a Scoutmaster and our group had planned to go to Antelope Island this weekend to camp and hike around the Island. I had someone that was supposed to schedule us a campsite and I just found out that it did not happen and to make matters worse all of the campsites are full. I am in need a placed to take a group of 16 scouts camping that is close to Antelope Island so that we can still spend the day there. Any suggestions would be helpfull. I would like to keep it as close to Antelope Island as possible...

The closest place I can think of would be Cherry Hill, in Kaysville.

Hey John, We take our scouts out there all the time and there has been times when they say that its all full and I've called the main gate and they have had room for us. The number to the main gateis 801-773-2941. Tell them how far you're coming from and hopefully they can accomadate you. Then as mateo said Cherry Hill or Lagoon Campground are probably the closest.

Everyone thanks for the suggestions. We have decided to stick closer to home and go up Diamond Fork, that way I can get a little fishing in.
