Well, I had a bad day a couple of weeks ago. I lost my cell phone out at the southwest corner of Willard, probably right by my car. I rarely use the phone, so I didn't know it was missing until several days later. Well, in the mean time, someone else picked it up and proceeded to make over 200 calls on it, racking up $73 of charges. I didn't know this until I got the bill today. They called one number 96 times in 5 days! I called that number and left a message asking them to tell this person that Verizon is launching an investigation to deal with them, but if they would return the phone and pay the bill then we would just leave it at that. I can't believe a fellow angler would do this.[mad]

[pirate]Yeah, that sucks, man. As I stated in another thread, when I was a kid (back in the '80's) my step-dad used to say "you know, most sportsmen are good people. There's probably only about 10% of them are jerks or bad people in general." It maybe used to be that way, but the older I get (only 32 now), and the more time I spend in the outdoors and see tons of trash, and hear all of the stories about people getting their gear stolen or car broken into (out in the field, that is-not their neighborhood), crawdad traps not there when they get back to check them, etc.-the more stories like that that I hear and witness, the more I disagree with my step-dad. There is no way in hades that 90% of all sportsmen are good people anymore. No way, no how. Maybe it was that way 20 years ago, but if you ask me, I'd say that it's about 70% of all sportsmen are good peeps, and I'm not sure it's even that high.

That is a pretty bad day Libertized! That really sucks! Hopefully you can catch whoever did this and get your phone back. If I were you I'd press charges too. If they did it once they'll do it again to someone else.
