Well I finally got up to DC last night ,It was a little slow for EYES,I fished up on the flats with no hits.Decided to try for smallies and had a few hits,so being very frustraded I went to my honey hole from last year wich is 25 ft under water.Well it didnt let me down My wife hooked intto a nice smallie (about 15inch ) We had a ton of hits and misses with the grub and i caught the first EYE of the year (17") male nice and fat.I guess there getting feed this year with the high water.The fishing will just get better up there with the warmer weather!!
