Gentleman 3/4day Fishing Report 6/18

[size 1]We went out on the Gentleman 3/4 day fishing boat out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Landing.

The boat left on time with Capt John, DH Brian, DH/Capt Mike, PH Sean and Cathy at the Spatula.

64 passengers.[shocked][shocked][shocked][shocked][/size]

[size 1]The decision was made to go to Anacapa and see if anything was stirring out there.[/size]

[size 1]We worked the Island from the West bank all the way to the East bank while fishing from depths of 20 to 45 fathoms.[/size]

[size 1]The regular assortment of different rockfish came up as well as a few nice lings. Short lings as well as the California Scorpionfish made their way up and right back down again. A Lavender Sculpin also managed to find its way on the elevator too. Pretty little thing but it was released.[/size]

JP was awarded to my nice little 11 lb Bocaccio.[]

The boat returned to the harbor around 4:09pm.[cool]

Dang ..... forgot to congratulate you on your JP. Even though we don't take the money and run, it always fun to play oneupsmanship on our buddies. As you know, ya gotta be careful though as some guys take things waaaaaay to serious!

Thanks for the congrats and congrats on your Monday efforts.

I always tell the crew on the boats that I am in it for the fun not the money. It is always fun to come back on the boat with a JP pass than it is with a pocket full of money that they could have used to divide amongst their underpaid selves.[cool]
