We arrived at the Goleta Pier around 8:00pm. We met up with Cooperfish, a member that lives in the area and wet some lines together.
Cooperfish had just finished landing a nice, huge Shovelnose Sandshark when we arrived.
Several Calico rockfish and Gopher Rockfish were landed over the next little while.
I caught and carefully landed a Swell Shark. I was carefull to do a good CPR on it. (Catch, Photograph, Release). It measured out to 32 inches once we could get the little guy to sit still for a minute.

Cooperfish left around 9:30 and we followed around 11:30.
It was a nice night and we got to meet one of our newer members in Cali. We handed off a few BFT stickers to him for his tackle box or whatever he decides to use them for.
