Gentleman 3/4 day Fishing Report 7/3/05

[size 1]We went out on the Gentleman 3/4 day fishing boat out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Landing.

The boat left a few minutes late with Capt John, DH Brian, DH/Capt Mike, PH Sean and Cathy at the Spatula. [/size]

[size 1]47 passengers wouldn't have been too bad except that another 20 showed up at the last minute and caused us to disembark a little later than normal.[/size]
[size 1][/size]
[size 1]Harrisons Reef was on the menu for the day so away we went.[/size]
[size 1][/size]
[size 1]We got the normal mix and match minus the Lings. Bocaccio were in abundance and most of the people caught something or other. Some of the people on board were new to fishing and made fun of the Barber Poles and Mick Jaggers that came on board.[/size]

[size 1]We pretty much caught boat limits on allowed species.[/size]
[size 1][/size]
[size 1]A 9lb Bocaccio made the JP and walked off with the cash[pirate]. There weren't many in the JP but it didn't make it to the crew either.[/size]

[size 1]Since we had limits, we made it back to the dock, filleted and all, around 3:30pm.[/size]

Hi there TubeN2,

The skipper must love you guys, catch limits, set the tone of the anglers, son helping out on deck ..... as he should !

Always interesting to hear what kinds of the bottom dewellers you've caught.
