So many honey holes, so little fish!!!
#1
Well, Decided to take my little bro fly fishing. He doesn't like to fish, but said fly fishing seemed okay. So yesterday, we went on our adventure.

I have read about two places that are supposed to be very good with lots of fish. The first stop we made was the strawberry river, near the pinnacles. My heart started pumping when I observed the stream. Great looking holes, riffles, meadows, and space. So we drove up the dirt road several miles and started to fish. Two hours later....one little fish rose. I didn't even see any other fish. What a disappointment. This looked like a dream stream.

So on we go to the W. Fork of the Duschene. Another wonderful looking stream. Wasn't much water to work with way up high, so we tried a few hours lower. Zippo...nada!!!

My original plan was currant crk, but I thought we would be in fishing nervana at these other places. By the time we got to currant crk....my bro makes a few casts, but doesn't want to wade through the muddy beaver dams. I finally hook a few risers, but that was it. What a miserable day for my brother, other than the scenery. Eight hours driving and about 4 fishing....not too fun!

Guess we could have stuck it out on the Provo nymph fishing with half of Utah. LOL
