I just got back from reserves for Saturday. We had a VA brief and the lecturer said something very interesting. He said the VA was trying to get the State of Utah to issue free fishing licenses to any and all Vets.
If you are service related disabled you can currently get many license fees waived but they are lobbying to get this benefit for all Vets. He instructed us to contact our State Represenative to voice our support. Just a thought. This would be a great benefit for many Vets and to remind Vets that the community still appreciates them. Just remember what many Vets have sacrificed even in "peacetime"<----(yeah right).
Yes many volunteered, I for one feel real obligations to the country and my fellow citizens. I am not in a combat role but think that I do contribute to many aspects, and that is why I serve. I guess I could go on and on but this is just my 2 cents.
