Gentlemen 3/4 day fishing report 7/16/05
#1
The Gentleman, out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Landing, left the docks at 6:15 am with 43 passengers.

The wind was calm, water was a cool 59 degrees so the decision was made to hit the Harrisons Reef.

Near limits were achieved on almost every legal species of rockfish so we went inshore to balance out the sacks.

The water had warmed up a little more and the Sandies and Calicos started to make a show. Several of each were caught and the day was drawing to a close.

We returned to the docks around 4:pm.[cool]

Hi there TubeN2,

Been tossin' any plastics for the claicos lately? They are putting a hurt on the fish down this-a-way.

Plenty of plastics here too. They are just on a different color sceme up her than down there. We are using plastics that look just like McChovies. It seems like they are getting some better quality bites than the real deal. Go figure!![crazy]
