Pigstickr & I ventured up there friday. We caught some nice fish. Surprisingly, hardly any small fish were caught.
We met Brent D. & Wade H. on the lake and they proposed a small contest. we agreed and they kicked our butts. they were culling fish by 9:30. They said all of their fish were 1.5lbs and greater. they caught them on dropshot and tubes. we caught ours on crankbaits & dropshotting as well.
Not too bad for the first time on the lake.
The actual tournament date is being discussed because of the hunt conflict. If I moved it to the week before, would it cause more harm than good? What do you guys think?
