[cool] I went fishing Sun 08/21/05 ..got me some small mouth bass...wow they give a good little fight....largest was about 8 inches...sorry no pics[

 ] Just a spinner and corn niblets...fishing bottom...so i lost a few spinners needless to say.....got to keep my logon sake[ ].[signature]

LOL. Spinners are some of the best baits in the world! Them weeds love them! And for a vegetarian like me, that's perfect. [cool]
I've never caught Smallmouth off of corn though. I wonder if anybody else has. [signature]

I have caught them with corn as well, they like their food moving near the bottom....
I emagin both of you were eather slow retrieving or drifting when you caught your smallies with corn. A am I right? There is a state or two that it is ileagle to fish with corn. [signature]
