drove up from vegas for the big cabelas event. what a great place. we got there at 7:45, got in and speant 6 hourd there. i loved it, worth the trip. anyway i'll have 1 day to fish up here, sunday morning. the old standby is jordanelle, but i wanted to try something different. only fished rocport through the ice but i wanna try it from my tube. how's it lookin' up there these days? whats workin' and where is a good spot for tubing? i'll be chasin' any and all types of fish(bass mostly). or is jordanelle better? thanx.

If you were a local, I would say try Rockport for a change of scenery and pace. But since you traveling a long distance, you might want to try Jordanelle because it offers more varied opportunities for fishing and/or recreation. Both waters have reasonable tube access , but again, Jordanelle seems to be more accomodating in that area as well. Good luck, and be sure to let us know how you did.

Sorry about that. I thought you were just passing through. Since you know the area, Rockport would be a change of pace from Jordanelle - except on weekends, they look very similar in terms of crowds these days. Hope you can get some fishing in while your up here. Let us know how it was.
