Holding fish....
#1
When I want to keep some for dinner I would take along the floating fish basket that is soft all around. If I didn't get as many as I wanted I could let them go unhurt. I don't use stringers or anything that would hurt the fishes. I would like to know what do u guys use?

Hey Bluegillman,

There is a thread at the top that is called "The best of the best". You can find some great info there. Here is a link to the portion that shows fish baskets. I use one of the wire baskets. It has a green stryofoam collar attached to the top to make it float. That keeps the opening above the water and makes it easier to put fish in. You can see some photos of it on the link if you scroll down a bit.

If the link does not work, you can go to the top of this board and select the first thread "Best of the Best" and scroll down to "Add-ons and Carry-ons" select the highlighted "Fish Baskets" - then scroll down until you find the photos.

Hope it helps - if you have any other questions - feel free to ask.

Here's the link:

[#505000]I also took a wire jumbo sized fish basket and put a foam "noodle" collar around the top. I then use a rope stringer to tie the floating basket off to my toon/tube. On the toon and tube though I take it out of the water if I need to "power" over to a location as it can cause a lot of drag.[/#505000]
