Maybe I must search the forum better, but there is a LOT info on tubes, pontoons, rodholders, etc.
How about fins.....
I have been using the Creek Company fins several years, they are fine but fitting them over wading boots is a bit a work.
Now I am think of adding some surf shoes and maybe at the same time adding better fins.
Some people are very fond of their Force Fin fins.
Are they really that good, as they are about 2-3 times the price of the competition.
Any advise is welcome.

Hey Pikefly,
Welcome to the board ! I use scuba diver's fins - they are long and give me a good deal of propulsion and manueverability. Here is a link to TubeDude's fin section. If the link does not work, go to the to of this board and click on the "Best of the Best" thread. Scroll down a little way and you will see the Finns section. Click on any one of those that are under it and it will bring you to where finns are discussed. Good luck !

[#0000ff]In addition to the link provided by Fishhound, here is a link to FINS FOR TUBING on the picture board. There are also links there to many online sources for fins.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I personally prefer the diving fins, with big soft foot pockets and easily adjustable heel straps. Those are more adaptable to wearing different waders, booties or surf shoes and more or less warmth in different temperatures of water. The Mares fins I have allow me to fish with no waders or boots during warmer water, but still expand to comfortably contain my heavy neoprene waders and booties in the winter.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]While some divers and tubers like the Force Fins, I was not happy with them when I got some to try. I like big semi-rigid blades that give lots of thrust on every kick, so that I do not have to kick the water to a froth to get somewhere. But, you must also know your physical limitations. If you get fins that are too large for you, you can hurt yourself. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]PS...never get overconfident and try to tow a water skier.[/#0000ff]

I'VE TRIED 3 DIFFRENT KINDS OF FINS AND HAVE SPENT ALMOST $150 AND THE ONES I FOUND TO WORK BEST FOR ME WERE THE LEAST INEXPENSIVE "US DIVERS SPLITFLEX FINS" FOR ABOUT $25 TO $30. WAY MORE THRUST AND 0 LEG CRAMPS. FOR $30 ITS WORTH GIVING THEM A TRY.

YOU CAN ALSO GET THEM AT JUST ABOUT ANY SPORTS CHALET, BIG 5, SPORTSMART, WALMART,ETC.
WHAT EVER FINS YOU GET MAKE SURE YOU ALSO MAKE OR BUY LEASHES FOR THEM, IT SUCKS TO LOOSE ONE AND HAVE TO KICK IT ALL THE WAY BACK WITH ONLY ONE OR NO FINS [mad]

GOOD LUCK
