Roberts Gravel Pond

I took my boys to Roberts Gravel Pond on Wednesday night for an hour. We were trying to get one of the catfish that were stocked in there. Has anyone got one? We did not catch a catfish but we did catch about as many perch as a guy could ask for. The action was constant for the entire hour before dark. They ranged from 5-10". Many of them were filletable. I am excited to load up on them when the ice comes.

I haven't caught any channel cats out of Roberts Gravel pond. Before it was poisoned about 10 years ago there were a lot of bullheads in there. I did see some bullheads through a hole in the ice but haven't heard much about the bullheads in there recently. Hopefully the channel cats do well in there.
