tippy dam fishing report
#1
well , it wasen't the greatest .
It seems like the fish numbers are down from last weekend . I saw only a handfull reeled in this weekend .
Very few fish were surfacing at night and during the day .
The evening fishermen were a better class this weekend , I didn't have to deal with one solitary drunk .
The regulars were there , Allen and his dad (Allen is quite grown up and an seasoned veteran with the 6# test line ) , the fly guy , he has every fly for the crome and the salmon you could think of at .75 cents each .
Even the fly fishing guy was there that sports a couple fly boxes from cabella's was there , he's doing much better with his casting , i was impressed .
the big kings changed their taste in flys this weekend from anything lime to the failsafe stonefly , black with a gold striped abdoment .
At dusk , my neon green worm produced several bumps and landed a nice male . I'll post his pic later . He is now undergoing a good old applewood fumigation in the smoker .
