I am thinking about selling my boat and I have no idea what it is worth. Were is a good place to look up prices or get an idea where to start.
The Boat I am thinking of selling is a 78-79? Starcraft 16ft alumimuin. Open Bow. 80hrs and a 5 hrs kicker. The 80h has not been started for 1 year and 5h has been 3 or more years. It is in ok shape just needs some TLC.
I just don't use it and need the money. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

They are not worth much if they don't run, time on the mortor only counts if it is running.

The for sale threads on BFT have similar boats from time to time. Scroll through some old posts and you can see the approx sell prices to get an idea of the value.

I might be interested in it, send me a PM and I'll stop by and take a look at it. I have a 16.5ft closed bow 1972 Starcraft with a 65 hp that I paid $1500.00 for, just to give you an idea what a running boat/motor is worth. A friend of mine bought a boat about the same year and model as mine that had a bad motor, he paid $500.00 for it. When was the last time you licensed your boat? WH2
