I am Heading up to the Bear this weekend For some fishing. I invested a few skins and we are going out with Jim Stone and See what we can learn. I decided that I might as well see what he can teach me so that I can attempt to make my future trips up there that much better.
I am also going to take my boat up and go try out some of what we learn. I will be in my green 16' tracker. will probably try both sides of the lake, but will depend on what we learn from Stone. Hope to see some of you all up there. I will bring my radio. Channel 12 Right? Hopefully will have some nice pics to share with my follow up post on how we did.

I remember that day, it looked like Jim had his hands full. Those guys were wasted, I'm surprised one of them did not fall over board.
Rileyfish- you should have a good time with Jim and hopefully he can put you on some fish no matter how you plan on fishing. A friend of mine fished BL some years back with Jim, he wanted to learn how to jig for the macks. He was happy with the trip and learned a lot. I hope you have a great trip. WH2

When I made all the arrangments to go out, Our conversations concentrated around the macs. I am wanting to spend some time trying both trolling and jigging. I am going to prettty much role with the flow and see what he has been having the most luck with this past weeks and such. If one is better than they other, Than lets do It. Yes blm, The gortex is packed and ready to go. Thats one nice thing about Jims boat, You can get under the roof a little to get away from the rain.
