My son and I ice fished Mantua 2 years ago and he took my wife to Daniels in Idaho around the same time. Both were artificial only then. He tied some renegades on a jig head and the trout loved them. I have sense used them at Strawberry and Rockport tipped with wax worm and had good success. I also have tied a woolly bugger on a jig head but it was not as productive as the renegade. I think that the woolly needs to have more movement to work.
