I was talking to a guy the other day that said that he was charged to walk into Pineview to fish. This is over by cemetery point. He called it the old CCC Camp. He said that the year before he was never charged. Is this true and if so how about ice fishing?
I used to park by the marina over on the North West side to ice fish. Do they charge to park there now?

I dout they charged him as of lately, they usually stop charging in October when the boat activity slows down. I usually launch at the Port Ramp Marina and I am most certain that they have never charged for walking in. Andersons Cove and Cemetery Point is a dirrerent story, in the summer and early fall they will go after all the money they can. There is not enough buisness to justify having a camp master or an employee sitting there all day collecting money.

Thanks, MGB.
I will give it a try in the morning. I hope to find some crappie and perch worth going back for when it freezes over. I love to ice fish Pineview and I have missed it with the last few bad years up there.
I know that we are still a year or two away from prime ice fishing but there has to be some good size fish in there now,if I can just find them, Dale.
