What superstitions do you have when fishing?

I believe without a doubt that I can't wear a new hat when fishing. I will always have a bad day when I wear a new one.
So how do you break the bad karma?
So far I just have to wear it for one or two bad trips and then it's all good.
So what are your superstitions?

This superstition may rub off on you. If I am picking a fly from my box and I see a tippet and knot on it I will not use it because "it didn't work for me" the last time I tied it on. Even if it is a good fly.

None ! I'm not superstitious. I don't think the fish are either.

I don't know if this is supersticous or not but I have to ALWAYS start with a hares ear. If I am fishing a dry.... I have a hares ear as a dropper, a bugger.... Hares ear trailing it.
