How many rods are too many?
#1
Got my ice fishing tackle organized today and counted my ice fishing rods and I own 9 of them! Plan on hitting Idaho and getting some use out of my non-resident annual license. That has got to be fun fishing with five rods through the ice at the same time. I wish Utah would allow two rods on nearly all of the waters.

Kent,, you only have to many ice rods when your jiggin' with two or more in each hand on waters which allow two rods. Whats more, and only if you using 2 hands. [Wink]

KENT I FISHED SALMON FALLS CREEK DAM LAST YR ON THE ICE AND TRIED TO FISH FIVE RODS.. TURED OUT THE ACTION WOULD BE SO FAST 2 WAS ALL I COULD KEEP UP WITH. THE BOWS IN THERE A 3 TO 5 POUNDERS AND COME THREW IN HUGE SCHOOLS. IF IT WAS SLOW FISHING I COULD SEE FIVE RODS BEING FUN. BUT I WAS RUNNING MY ASH OFF.
