we lost our first victoms to thin ice north of milwalkee this morning... a Nine year old girl and her father who jumped in to save her.
Please Please Please, take causion on the ice. Anglers may tempt fate by walking on thin ice, but skating jumping up and down tossing rocks on the ice ahead of you is asking for trouble...
Much fun can be had on the ice but give thin ice its due respect. the term walking on thin ice is not a joke to take lightly.
If you are not Ice educated please wait till it can be properly tested by an avid ice angler. especialy if it is a small pond. they are usualy spring fed and have currents in them.
