Southern Utah Report
#1
Went down with the dogs to Southwest Utah over the weekend to escape the cold spell we were having. Spent most of my time hiking and mountain biking after trying to go fishing Saturday and being blocked by too much ice (the road in crosses the creek about 15 times and there aren't many fish down lower on it). On Sunday I did manage to get a couple hours fishing in on a very small creek that was ice free. I caught 5 rainbows all were 9 to 12 inches except one I caught out of a Beaver dam was a fat 17 inch fish. Unfortunately the bigger fish fought like a Green River slug but it was a nice looking fish anyway. With the warmer weather up North now is there enough open water on the Weber to give to give it a try?
