New tube on the block

This is for all you guys and gals that like the ODC because it is longer than the SFC. I found this site, but be sure and check out the sticker price on this one. It is however a good demonstration, not sure it is legal for what he is doing.

[cool][#0000ff]His craft are mostly made by Aire Mfg., the same company that makes Outcast products. They are good quality, and Dave is mighty proud of them...which is reflected in his prices.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have included several models of Scadden's pontoons on the picture board, in the Pontoon Shopping Guide.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have also seen some of his videos. He really does like to take his 'toons in "harm's way". Good scenery and some nice places. [/#0000ff]

I agree with Scaddens ego. He was one of the major designers for Outcast at one time, that is why his boats look so similar. But, now it is North Fork Outdoors and that is a repitable co.
He does build some of the nices boats, no dought, and his prices are high, but I love mine and have had no regretts.
I don't know what is up with all the video's though, I guess he wants to be a star. Or maybe just show what they are capeable of.
(Excuse my spelling)

[cool][#0000ff]I would be the last one to knock the quality or design. They are great craft.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Only real issues I have heard of are timely delivery and customer service. One BFT member took over 6 months to get what he ordered...piece by piece...and it still was never right. When he complained, all he got was "attitude". How dare he complain about such a great company, etc. All he cared about was getting what he ordered.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have heard several other similar expressions of concern about supply and delivery. Not a big company and they make them as they sell them. They try to convince buyers that it is because they sell so many, but it is more of a cash flow problem.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Don't get me wrong. There are a couple of them that I would like to own...but only if somebody else paid for them, and they came completely set up with no hassle.[/#0000ff]

I agree with the attitude. When Dave tried to do it himself, there were alot of disatisfied customers. I had a friend also that ordered and waited, but since North Fork took over and took Daves hand out of the register I haven't heard those stories. They seem to supply all the Cabela's. It does seem though that you get better service if you order one from one of their separate sellers instead.

Scroll down to Flytuber's post

The advertising for this tube is totally irresponsible. No wonder you people think this guy has attitude.

Irresponsible in that he didn't post "Do not attempt this on your own, we are trained professionas"
He is an innovating designer, and he is just showing the extremes that his boats could go.
He is a proud man and not afraid to blow his own horn. Now if he would just follow through on his other great creations and offer some up dates instead of recommending to sell your old Scadden product and buy the new, when you ar happy with the old.
I have come up with some great ideas for the Cardiac and Brother in-laws have come up with great ideas for the Expeditions.
