I went with a friend to Mudlake this Sat. I guess I have been spoiled by the last couple of weeks because 40 fish seemed slow. We kept 21 over 7". There were still plenty of big fish in the water, but most of them were tight lipped. There were well over 100 people out on Mudlake throughout the day which isn't many by midwest standards, but seemed a little crowded for Idaho. I tried every combination of jig and bait in my tackle box with nothing working better then anything else. It was a fun day overall.

Thanks for the report! Wow 100 people may be a bit crowded for me, but I still plan on hitting it one of these midweek evenings.

I've ice fished Mud Lake when there were about 50 people on the lake. Even though Mud Lake has enough room for people to spread out it still seemed crowded to me.

I don't think I have ever ice fished when I could see over 100 people. I guess crowds and success are just the opinion of each person.
