Lake X ice....or slush

Jord. is doing good for bows through the ice at rock cliff, ice is pretty safe, but I wouldn't take any toys out on it. Met ice sled up there, saw the BFT sticker on his truck. I bought my first bottle of powerbait today, tasted like crap but I did catch lots of fish, maybe it does work! WEAR WATERPROOF BOOTS, I've seen slush before but this was more like a 4" layer water under the snow, very wet! Not deep enough yet for the perch on rock cliff side, scared to go on mayflower side,ice too thin. Snow was falling when I left at 7 pm, fish were still biting but couldn't see anymore. Good luck to those who go, but I want to know when you go[], I'll tag along.
