Looks like you got her whipped 'cept you ought to cut a wedge on the front slope of each board. Look at the plans for details. The wedge steers the boards away from the boat so they stay tight on the lines.

The small boards are handy cause you can just clip them to your line and you don't need a mast and tow line. The big boards with the mast allow you to drag multiple lines spaced apart from the tow line if you want to. Another advantage with the big boards is ... when you catch a fish, it releases from the board and you only have the fish on your line at that point. With the small boards you have the board on line till you reel it in and remove it. I have occasionally lost fish while trying to remove the small board from the line.
