MANASQUAN, NJ[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 2]—[/size][/font]The New Jersey Legislature recently approved a new boater education and safety law that the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) says is the strongest in the nation. It applies to all people age 16 years and older who operate registered vessels above 12 feet that are defined as power vessels under the law.
