Where are you planning on launching? I was up there last sunday and did a little bank fishing off of the west dike. I fished the last three hours before dark with cut bait and plastics and didn't have a bit. One of the boats that floated by said the water temp was something like 37* so they may still be a little slow up there.

Garbageman... friday evening? I would reconsider this because of its timing with the low pressure that will continue all week. Walleyes are affected dramatically by such a event. Rain and snow all week, so dunno if anyone would have such luck... man I need to get out and fish!

If it was just winds blowing, that would be prime spring eye catching along the mudlines...

Yeah I know the weather will be crappy, but I just can't wait to get out and try. hopefully we'll have some luck, but at least we'll know if the float tubes still hold air.
