I got a letter in the mail yesterday with two nice jigheads. I forgot to tell my wife it was coming and she wanted to know what the funny letter was. Thanks again for the little contest and all you do to spread the joy of fishing to all you meet, it is above and beyond the call of duty. Those 5 kids that you help out on the pond this spring are in for a real treat and opportunity to learn.

[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Actually I wouldn't tie myself down to messin' with the kids but I need some more catfish bait. Here, little girl, now take this hook and swim out there a ways. (sick old man, huh?)[/#0000ff]

TubeDude, I also want to say thanks for the jigs. I'm hoping to try them out in a couple of weeks when the ice fishing slows down.

Also looking forward to the next contest!

[cool][#0000ff]Got plenty to freeze off but Friday evening is out for me. Thanks for the invite. We need to get our fishing/social calendars together and "hook up".[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I plan to spend lots of time on Willard this year. However, my favorite tubing area is out of the South Marina. It will be opening up again in April and that is the beginning of the best tubing out there anyway.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]There are both wipers and wallies to be had around the North Marina, by tubing, but most of the action for awhile is going to be on the west side. Tough to launch from the rocks, although I have done it plenty. The worst part is the road to get back there. My Humvee is still in the shop from last year.[/#0000ff]

I just want to add my thanks to the rest of the posts.
Those were some good looking jigs! I hope to give them a test drive at Strawberry this weekend.
I was very surprised at how fast the jigs arrived at my house.
Thank you very much for the jigs, I for one appreciate your efforts with these contests and all of the great info you put out on these threads.

[cool][#0000ff]Well, thanks to everyone who played the game. We appreciate your appreciation. It ain't always easy to come up with something to calm down a bunch of surly fisherfolk who are shut in by the weather.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]You guys make it fun to be a moderator. Hope we can keep the flow of info and reports going so that it is a good place for everybody to hang out...between fishing trips of course.[/#0000ff]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][#ff4040]Thanks Pat! The UPS guy just dropped off my T-shirt today. Didn't know they made it in black too. Seen most people only wearing a white one.[/#ff4040][/font]

Thank you Pat. I wished for these colors 30 years ago while in Minnesota.

[Smile]I have to jump on the band wagon and thank you for the jig heads, as well as all the other stuff you do for us. I'll try not to loose the jigs to the reeds or weeds on the first cast.

[#0000ff]I don't have to worry as much about snagging and losing the jigs. I know the guy that makes them.[/#0000ff]

Well,-------------, I may be a bit off base for this post but I couldn't resist. Sorry Tube! [unsure] This guy's value goes way beyond jigs! He is the most overall knowlegeable guy (in my opinion) that is on this board and many, many others, not even to mention giving and sharing. Thanks Pat. [Wink] I hope you live to a hundred and fifty. Yep. Dude, ya got me fooled.[Smile]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][#ff4040]Next time out I will definitely be wearing the shirt, but about the walleye part I don't know. They have to cooperate for me to be holding some.[Wink][/#ff4040][/font]

[#0000ff]Why do you want to punish me by having me live as long as you? In dog years.[/#0000ff]
