I am looking for a set of childrens waders. I have seen youth sized waders, but I am afraid they are too big for her. She loves to sit on my lap and float tube fish with me, but she is dis-apointed that its too cold. Anyone know where to find an affordable set of childrens waders? maybe even have a pair they're kid has grown out of?

Try the fishing expo. They usually have all sizes and really good prices. But i found out you need to get them as early as possible because they are gone fast. I would check garts and sportsmans booth they usually have tons there all sizes but they do run out fast.I need some for the wife and my daughter so iam gonna be looking into some too.Good luck.

The only pair I could find that were even close were Hodgmans waders. My daughter, who is five, loves to fish with me on my toon. I got them at SW last spring but I imagine Cabelas might have a better selection. How old is your daughter? Maybe we could do some tubin' this summer.

My daughter and I hit the I-80 pond about a dozen times in late spring/early summer. I can fish for bass and she catches bluegill, it's a perfect scenario. I've never been able to find wader boots for her though. I would like to put her in her own tube next to my toon but still a little scared. Now that I think about it, I've never sat in a tube, is there a strap that keeps you from falling through? Could a child sit in one and be safe?

My u-boat doesnt have one, but my sons round tube does. I have had the same thoughts about getting my daughter her own tube. She always wears a pfd, so I think I will get her a round tube when I find a deal. Just tether her to mine and drag her along with me.

Welcome Kevin. Kevin was the first angler to take pity on me and take me ice fishing. I've come along ways, well I have at least spent a lot of money on equipment and ice-fishing equipment, since that day back in approximately 2000 on Pineview.
