We launched from lincon beach at about 9:30 this morning. We tossed jigs and trolled all up and down the shoreline untill about 1:30. We never had any takers nor did we talk to anyone that had any sucess. We were in water from 4-12 ft. with no luck. Water temp was 45 when we headed for bird island. The water temp at bird island was a balmy 53 when we arrived. We tried the same tecniques with no luck. We left at 4pm. I am thinking either there are no fish in Utah lake or our tecniques suck.

Thanks for the update. It should be "any day now" when the fish will flip the eating switch.

your right about the swtich on, and when it comes on this year it's not going to be on all that long. I've seen this patern before. the weather holds them back until they can't go any longer, then they move in and out just as fast as they can. later chuck
