Little Dell
#1
Has any one been to Little Dell in the Last Week. Does it still have ice pack. I'm planning on taking the yak up there Saturday afternoon. I have a extra kayak if anyone else want's to go.

Be warned that it's a little work to get the yak's down to the water. It will must likely be windy. All are welcome.

I was at Cabelas last week and spoke with a guy who had been up there a few days earlier. He stated that there is open water up where the creek comes in and they used float tubes to catch some nice cutts.

Good luck and have fun.

I fished Little Dell today. I got the word that it had open water, so I packed up the kayak and went up and to my surprise 95 percent of the lake was still frozen. I fished the puddle where the inlet comes in from shore and caught 25 sticks and 2 nice Cutts.

There is still alot of snow up there.

Hey Kent,

Most of the stick's were between 4 to 12" but I caught a whooper that was at least 2 ft long.

[cool][#0000ff]I heard they gotta have at least one fork to keep them. I always release mine. Too much trouble to fillet them.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Won't be long until you can have more open water...I hope.[/#0000ff]

No Word yet from Kayote and K2 on Pelican but I'll bet that they are sticking the bass right now. It's does not take those 2 very long to get into Bass.
