well my thoughts are- bring scuba gear to each lake now that the rain has set in -- not me there only about 6 weeks left before opener- if your looking for a lake to try during spawing season dont miss this lake,; walleye opens up this year for the first time in 8+ years and believe me they are there big time (after almost 7 years of living on that lake for 4 months- each year- in my sleeper every year during ice) what a place to check out during spawing time 1+ lb crappie, 10" perch, gators, drummies, carp, sheephead- you will have your hands full plus your tummys and some to take home;; "No" you cant fish in the Tamarack river or tributs or ditches while spawning is going on but you can travel the river--watch your 06 fishing books and posted signs- certain limits around each area are off limits near shore, you should not need to get into more than 6-8 ft of water on the north and east shore- believe me we know
