Willard 4/3

Fished Willard from about 4PM to dark. Boated from the south marina and worked my way down the west dike to just past the light pole. Used bottom bouncers and dropshots. Didn't have a single bite. Tried the island for a few minutes with same result. There's no bouy there so use your GPS.

Water temp was 48 degrees inside the south marina and 47 outside. It was 45 over on the west dike.

Was testing out my new VHF radio and met SmokerCraft by radio-wave and then in person a little later in the evening. Great to meet you SmokerCraft.

I had the same results except i didn't cover as much water. I did mark alot of fish though close to shore everywhere i went.

I fished it Monday from 5:30pm-8:00pm and had the same results,no fish no bites, but I did mark quite a few.

The fishing is always good. Can't think of a better way to finish off the day,slow troll watching a willard sunset, it doesn't get better than that!
