[cool][#0000ff]I met with Coldfooter's wife and she escorted me in to see him. He looks and acts like someone who has just been through a lot. I guess it was a lucky thing that he pulled through.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]He's got a great contemporary haircut (shaved head) and he is hooked up to a lot of tubes and expensive monitoring equipment. I guess that's why they nickname ICU "Expensive Care Unit". Only problem is that he can't log onto BFT even with all that gear.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I took a printed copy of the comments made by BFTers after I posted the announcement of his surgery. He is touched and appreciative that his "family" cares about him. I also took in an "Angler Plant". I whupped it up from an empty nut can (appropriate), some prism tape on the sides for decoration, green painted styrofoam and a bunch of tubes and grubs on short lengths of wire. If you squint real hard and have a good imagination you can make pretend they are plants and not lures. (see pic)[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Don is a fighter. He assured me he will be back fishing soon. His wife added "Probably before the doctors will let him".[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]For those who want to visit him, he is on limited visitation still. Even close family members are requested not to visit, to avoid tiring him or interfering with his much needed rest. Once he is out of ICU, that may change. His wife will keep me posted.[/#0000ff]
